CHEM 104
General Chemistry II, part 2

As in Chemistry I, a conceptual understanding will be emphasized to show how the chemistry learned during the course can apply to health-related situations. The goal is to familiarize students with chemistry concepts and to provide the skills necessary to carry out lab work using these skills. We will also stress problem-solving. Chemistry II will be taught at a chemistry-major level, and will provide the background for organic chemistry, biochemistry, and other health sciences where chemistry is utilized.

This is the second part of a two-part course. The completion of the first part (CHEM 103) is required before taking the second part. Registration is required separately for each part of the course.
