Course Description

This fully online review course will cover the development of efficient and cost-effective approaches to the clinical, laboratory, and radiologic diagnosis of endocrine diseases with emphasis on recent advances.

Target Audience
The course is intended both for physicians who are preparing for the endocrinology subspecialty board examination and for physicians certified in endocrinology who wish to remain abreast of recent advances in the field activity.

Course Objectives
To encourage an organized, efficient and cost-effective approach to the clinical, laboratory and radiologic diagnosis of endocrine disease with emphasis on recent advances. After attending this review course, the participant should be able to (1) evaluate and apply new treatments in the diagnosis of endocrine disorders, and (2) identify the risks and benefits of each treatment.

Daily session recordings will be available within 24 hours to confirmed participating attendees. Closed captioning is not provided during live sessions but will be integrated into video recordings within 2-3 days post-event.

$1,200.00 - General Rate - Any MD that is not affiliated with the NIH
$950.00 - NIH Physicians - Any NIH MD that is not considered a trainee (Staff Scientist/Investigator, etc)* NIH participants can request to be invoiced. Please email registrar@faes.org to request an invoice.
$700.00 - Fellows and Other Medical Professionals - MD (trainees anywhere) and others (Non-MDs) who work in the field of endocrinology

*Recent graduates of Endocrinology Fellowship Programs are eligible for the $950.00 NIH Physician’s rate.

The written materials (PDF lectures) will be available to registered participants to view and download until February 28, 2023.  The recordings will be available until January 21, 2023.

Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES). Physician CME Credit
The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 39 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Board of Internal Medicine
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 39 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.  

Cancellations and Refunds
Full refunds, minus a $50.00 administration fee, will be issued for all cancellations received in writing on or before September 16, 2022. A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations received in writing between September 17 - 23, 2022. No refunds will be issued after September 23rd, 2022.
